TERMS & CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions for the domain www.missestruch.co.uk. By using this website, purchasing resources from it and/or booking tuition you agree to these terms and conditions. Terms and Conditions may change from time to time.

 

  1. COPYRIGHT

The copyright of all resources, branding and website graphics, except where otherwise stated, are the property of Katie Estruch. In line with Copyright, Designs and Patents Act, 1988, Katie Estruch must be identified as the author of this work. All rights are reserved by the author, Katie Estruch.

You may not:

Share or reproduce purchased electronic resources.

Download, reproduce, transmit, use, or incorporate any of the Miss Estruch Biology branding, photographs, website text, files, videos, or blog posts without the prior written consent of Katie Estruch.

You may not copy the programme or name of the Pick ‘n’ Mix tutoring.

 

  1. PURCHASES

Purchased electronic resources are for personal use only (individual license) or use within one school only (school license), the resource cannot be shared with anyone else in any capacity, including (but not limited to) printing or photocopying the resource, sharing the digital resource file, sharing a photograph of the resource that is of high enough quality for production.

You may not use or incorporate any of the original images, files, pictures, videos, text, or diagrams from the resources in your own original work or to publish, distribute, display, or pass off as your work.

You may not remove the Copyright logo (©missestruchbiology) from any Resource.

Photos of you using the resources may be shared on social media platforms and / or third-party websites if:

The above terms and conditions are met.

The photograph does not depict the resource in whole and / or compromise the security of the resource.

Any photos shared on social media must either have @missestruchbiology tagged or referenced in the caption.

 

  1. DELIVERY OF RESOURCES

It is your responsibility to check that your device and internet connection are sufficient for you to download and open the resources successfully.

 Resource files may be delivered as zipped files – these may require the use of a laptop or desktop computer to unzip to access the individual files within.

All products saved as PDFs are not to be edited and the file format is not to be changed.

 

  1. PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Refunds will not be given for any downloadable resources so please ensure it meets your needs before completing the purchase, for example by viewing free downloads or the associated YouTube videos first. It is advised that you submit any questions regarding the resource or otherwise via the contact form to submit your question.  You must have permission from the bill payer and by ticking the terms and conditions you are confirming that you do.

I reserve the right to change product pricing at any time without notice.

 

  1. PARENTAL/LEGAL GUARDIAN PERMISSION 

Any student/s under the age of 18 must have parental/legal guardian’s permission before signing up for tuition, purchasing a resource, signing up for a digital product or joining the membership.

  1. TUTORING

By signing up for tuition you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Any student/s under the age of 18 requesting a tuition service must have parental or a legal guardian’s permission to do so.

A student must not request that I complete coursework, essays, or other assignments for them.

You may cancel a tuition session up to 12 hours prior to the lesson and receive a full refund.  Beyond this time no refunds will be made unless at the discretion of Miss Estruch Biology. All tuition lessons must be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Miss Estruch is not responsible for any grade received by a student or any consequence that examination grades entail.

Bullying will not be tolerated in group tuition sessions and is likely to lead to the immediate removal of a student from the session with no refund.

If a Pick n Mix session does not meet the minimum number of 8 students needed for the course to run then the course will be cancelled, and a full refund provided.

If Miss Estruch is unable to attend a tuition session due to unforeseen circumstances the session will be rescheduled. 

 

  1. PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS  

Miss Estruch Biology may wish to use photographs, video or digital images of students during online group tuition session for social media and marketing purposes.  Miss Estruch will make students aware if/when this is happening so they can choose to not be a part of the image.   Any student not wishing to ever be in any digital images should put this in writing to [email protected].

I take handling your data very seriously.  Please view the Privacy Policy for more details on how we use your data.

 

  1. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of the Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. The most recent version of the Terms and Conditions are located on this page. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
