Making babies from three parent’s DNA – is it ethically correct?

If you have a university interview coming up this is a must read!  This is a current ethical debate.  What is your view?

The UK is considering whether it should allow the creation of babies from three people to prevent deadly diseases.

The fertility technique uses material from the mother, father and a donor woman to prevent deadly diseases.

MPs will go on vote on whether to make the UK the first country in the world to legalise the procedure.

Opponents say it is unethical to make babies with DNA from three people and that it represents a “slippery slope” to designer babies.
